As a migraine sufferer from an early age along with chronic tension headaches as an adult, I began seeking out alternative therapies. That’s when I decided to try massage therapy and began my journey in to what is now a highly satisfying career.
Upon graduation from the Clinical Massage Therapy program at Midlands Technical College, I began a private practice in West Columbia while working part time in Aiken at a spa. I fell in love with the Aiken area and it’s people, so ultimately I said farewell to my private practice in West Columbia and transitioned into private practice in Aiken.
I am certified by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) and I am licensed by the State of South Carolina. I continue my training by learning additional advanced techniques so I may continue providing the best integrated, custom tailored massage and bodywork services to my clients.

Effective stress and pain management comes from utilizing a combination of advanced massage techniques based on your health and goals. For this reason, I don’t stick to the traditional Swedish, Deep Tissue, or other massage style boundaries. Instead, I blend techniques to both achieve desired results and to provide a safe and enjoyable experience.
Regular Bodywork is Encouraged
While some of my clients enjoy the more relaxing elements to my treatments, most come for chronic pain management and the overall wellness effects of regular bodywork.
I seek to only work with those that are dedicated to their health and well-being. The beauty of bodywork is that it’s benefits are compounded when massage is utilized as a frequent therapy. Regardless if it’s being used to reduce stress, or manage pain, it can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen. Budgeting time and money for bodywork at consistent intervals is truly an investment in your health.
I recommend starting with at least a 60 minute session. This allows me more time to get to know you and your body. Your pain is either an accumulation of stress or injury that has happened over time, related to a medical condition, or related to a sudden event. Will you feel some relief after your first session? Sure, but true long term relief takes time and consistency.
After your first session, we can better evaluate what worked and where to move forward. Your treatment plan will change as you progress. Frequency and/or duration will need to be adjusted based on how your body responds to therapy.
